Personalize this!
As a wedding photographer, I see a vast amount of wedding paraphenalia purchased by brides and their families (come on - we know most grooms didn't even know there were "favors" until he's told to start tieing bows around something). It seems that every retail industry has found some way to get into the wedding niche. Just put the bride and groom's name on it!
Now, there are the "traditional" items - napkins, cake cutters, toasting glasses, and matchbooks (with "The Perfect Match" embossed, of course!). There are also the newer items that are becoming more common, such as CDs with the couples favorite songs.
But, brides - and their mothers, relatives and friends - are getting quite resourceful. These new items range from quite unique to a bit fun to amazingly overboard. I'll let you be the judge. Personalized M&Ms, shot glasses, water bottles, wine bottles, chocolate bars, mint tins, key chains, and flags. Gourmet coffee grounds for each guest. Gowns & tuxedos for the champagne bottles.
It's all so darn cute. Isn't it?
